The provided Colorimeter is used for measuring the transmittance and absorbance of light passing through a liquid. It also measures the intensity or concentration of the color that develops when a specific reagent is introduced into a solution. This device is based on Beer-Lambert's law, which states that the absorption of light transmitted through the medium is directly proportional to the medium concentration. This device is extensively used for monitoring the growth of yeast or bacterial culture, testing water quality by screening chemicals such as cyanide, fluoride, chloride, iron etc and for determining the concentration of plant nutrients. We provide this Colorimeter to our customers after conducting series of quality assurance tests.
